"THE JOURNEY"---The journey we are on during this life can be difficult at times but there are also many good times as well. This piece was made to reflect the journey we call life. The journey our family has been on during the last four years has been exceptionally difficult. The loss of my wife to cancer has made my journey feel lonely at times. Confronting grief head on hurts like nothing I have ever experienced. This piece reflects the life's journey and our need continually move toward something. Sometimes what we are moving towards is not always clear. But we hold onto hope. That's what I tried to convey in this piece. The gaze of each buffalo is fixed on something that is yet to be revealed. But they keep moving toward it.
