"HIGH ELK"---Finished a piece that the meaning of it developed while I was working on it. Its been difficult to say the least this whole grieving process. Anxiety, depression, sadness, loss. Those are all real things and I pray people seek help for those things. Talking to people, letting people know how you really are feeling is important. Art has allowed me to channel my grief and sadness into remembering the wonderful life I had with Geri. And to be thankful about the life I have with my kids and grandkids. February is also difficult because it was this time last year (February 2018) when Geri was in the hospital the last time, we received the news that there was nothing else that could be done. This piece represents strength, love, family. Represents all of our pains, struggles, happiness and joy we share in the memory of our dearly departed loved ones.
